I love lists. I like to make them, and read them, and agree with them, and argue with them. Sometimes I will make a list after I have done some tasks, just so I can check them off my list. I like to read "Best Of..." and "Definitive..." lists so that I can argue and wonder why the editor or author blatantly left something off that I believe should be there. I like lists that are fluid and grow and change. I make notes and file them away for safe keeping and then years later come across them and think, "Really? Whatever made me put the Kaua'i' Grand Hyatt's Lava Flow (sticky syrupy messy rum drink) on my best drink list?" or wonder, "Could I have a category for 'Best Fresh Fish Taco ever eaten on a Shrimp Boat in Port Isabel?'" or is that scope too narrow. This list of lists is definitely a work in progress, and in order to start somewhere, we'll name places close to home or pictured elsewhere on this website. Suggestions? Debates? Bring 'em!
